Completed Diploma in Childcare, Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management and she is currently studying her Graduate Diploma in Management (Learning) and her Graduate Diploma in Leadership
Caitlin has worked in Early Education and Care for over 15 years, and throughout this time has held an array of positions, ranging from Educator, Lead Educator, Assistant Centre Manager, Centre Manager right through to Support Centre Manager.
Having worked in management and support roles over the last 10 years, Caitlin understands the day-to-day challenges of not only managing a centre, but also the challenges associated with providing high-quality support to a team. Caitlin believes that its crucial to create safe, respectful, and rich environments for children, where they are provided a learning environment that ensures all children are included and feel a sense of belonging with safe and secure relationships with educators. Caitlin believes that educators can only provide this to children when they themselves feel a sense of belonging within the service with strong secure relationships.
Caitlin prides herself on being an understanding and an approachable person that ensures she builds strong relationships with her services to achieve the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders. Caitlin is a proud mum to four boys and has a very strong belief in inclusive practices for all children ensuring we as educators know each individual child’s needs and abilities to support them whilst at their “home away from home”.
